DIGIMON BEATBREAK : Episode 2

Ok, so we are starting off with some pretty important information in the episode that the people are in fact, not dead. But instead they are essentially in a coma. And I guess their soul essentially has ended up being stuck in their Sapotama, and somehow they need to bring the Sapotama back to them to revive the person. Feels like an overly complex set-up, but lets see how it goes.

Also I’m not really sure what to make of the set-up for Tomorou working with this group. He isn’t exactly working with them by his own choice. Or even 100% to save his brother. And more been forced into it because of some system that he didn’t even know existed a day before. Really the whole thing feels like a great way to grow resentment and cause issues in the future.

One thing I do wonder at this point is how long they are planning for this show to be, I do hope it is more than the standard 12 episodes. I feel like they are setting up a lot here that needs to be covered, and I feel it will be tough to do so in the standard season.
