Hinako really is a complete mess at this point in the story. And her whole reason for living really is completely confused and lost. All these years after the accident, she never found a reason to live for herself. No matter how much Miko tried, or Shiori tried more recently. She only kept going on a pretty small sentence she remembered hearing, and now that she knows the truth it is just brutal. It really is unfortunate how she never managed to properly move on, I don’t know if she needed a different type of therapy or moving away from the coast and the area that it happened in.
