DIGIMON BEATBREAK : Episode 1

It has been some time since I last experienced anything to do with Digimon. I played a couple hours of the cyber sleuth game. And I think that is pretty much it, outside of a friend recommending the new Digimon game to me. But I wasn’t really expecting it to be bringing such a dark tone at all to this first episode. An obvious deeply broken world, possible climate change or some other major world catastrophe. The rich living in some private sealed off egg and not worried about the people outside. Everything seemingly controlled by a singular AI. Oh and two people apparently dying in the first episode, and I’m still not sure if they will come back or not. Part of me feels like they will, simply because they did give a decent amount of time and initial character building to the brown haired girl.

But all together, I’m excited to see where this story goes from here. And I’m hoping it stays pretty good.
