And so 3 episodes in we get a major fight scene and recover this book they have been chasing after. And I really do hope things slow down just a tad here soon, because I am very much getting confused with how quickly things are progressing. There has been no real obvious progression of time or separation of days even though you know time has progressed. And why has there been no development of moments with his family outside of the very odd slice of life after episode thing that happens. Which in themselves just feels completely disconnected from the rest of the show.

Meanwhile something that grabbed me in the first episode, which was Klein’s apparent willingness to test things himself and try things has largely been ignored for now. He was so aggressive in testing the spell and looking for a way home in the first episode, and had this kinda calculating style to him when he meet with the 2 people in the fog room. That stuff grabbed me in the first episode, but since than I just haven’t felt the same way at all. Klein has largely been going with whatever the others tell him to do and just go with the flow it seems. Which is just kinda disappointing.
