While there was a lot of general information gathering and confirming stuff we already knew this episode, I don’t know how much new we learned really. There is the discovery about money which is interesting but also kinda makes sense. But the bit about the constant time of year is a bit more interesting, because the question is why it is that way. Does anything created by the gene terra actually change? Like I want to know if people actually age in the city and could get injured, if the gene terra is keeping time essentially stuck in a single point of time. There is also the shot of the date and time on Reiko’s phone at the end, and I’m figuring this will be an important detail in some way. Will her and Youmei’s phone dates not match when they meet, or will something else have happened to Youmei to show a larger change in time.
