Pokémon Horizons : Episode 12

And so the adventure continues onto yet another region of the world, this time going out to track down LIko’s Grandmother. But we also got a chance to meet Liko’s mother, and she apparently has a very hands off parenting approach, wishing to let Liko grow a bit more herself without interference. Which kinda seems to be a common parenting approach in the Pokemon universe. Though I guess the difference here is, she isn’t so much letting Liko wander the world by herself. But instead just letting her stay with a good family friend for awhile to travel and explore the world, honestly a much better idea.

With this episode I think we also see what will be the general goal of the entire series. Track down the ancient pokemon and add them to the team, and than I assume use them all to save something or other. Meanwhile this antagonist group attempts to stop and steal those ancient pokemon along with this mysterious pendant.

Random note, I love the Rotom Phone in this episode when it couldn’t get a signal. The change in expression droop was just adorable.
