Higehiro : Episode 1

Published by ThyMrMan on

Coming from the manga and enjoying it for awhile now, I was really excited when I heard that it was getting an adaptation. And from this first episode, I’m excited to be watching it animated. The visual quality is good, and I’m loving the voice actors they chose for the roles.

I’m glad that they are being up front with the characters place in the story and their relationship, and not trying to change anything for the anime. Yoshida is keeping his same attitude and feelings for Sayu of a mentor or guardian. And Sayu is already showing how at her heart, she really is just a teenage girl that for awhile now has been doing something she never should have had to.

As with all adaptions, I wonder how far along we will get. But I’m excited for the journey.
