Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER : Episode 2

I get the feeling a lot was chopped out of this backstory to make it fit into a single episode. This was a very confusing episode for me, starting with the unexpected backstory of course. Suddenly spending the entire episode with W leading up to the present time was not in my playbook at all. But also jumping so often between the various events in her past doesn’t help at all.

By the end though, I want to see how this fits into things. I’m going to assume W will play a large role in the coming conflict to stop Chernobog and Reunion. Though I’m not really sure if this will be the end of Reunion in the season to move onto another villain, or just another part in their conflict.
