While they are following the source material really well still, not really doing anything that wasn’t in the source. And in general feeling like a pretty complete adaption of the manga. The anime does make me realize how little development the Shadow Garden members actually get. They should be rather important characters that get a decent amount of character development, and yet we barely see them and never learn anything about them or what they are doing. And instead we spend all of our time following the side characters, who honestly are only relevant for a single arc. They don’t stick around very long, and in the long run don’t really play any real role in the larger story.
