Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury : Episode 3

Things were progressing about as well as I was expecting from the show. The duel happens again, though this time with much more action and it is showing how even a gundam can run into issues. Get the reveal that the representative is Suletta’s mother, though she looks rather different from when we saw her in the prequel. And of course Suletta is still being absolutely adorable and has some communication issues and trouble talking with new people.

What I wasn’t expecting was a second proposal. And this time coming from Guel. That was so completely unexpected in all methods and ways. But I’m guessing this might be some way he is hoping to fight against his father who obviously doesn’t believe in him to actually be a competent and good fighter on his own.

That there is probably going to be one of the main themes of the show going forward it looks like. The parents and adults making decisions for the various kids who are going to the school, and other schools. Under the belief that they aren’t powerful enough or smart enough to make their own decisions and win their own battles without assistance from outside actors. We have already seen it twice with Guel’s father and Miorine’s father.
