Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? : Episode 5

This is a show that is moving down the rankings pretty quickly for me. First episode and second episode I really liked, the joke count was high. Kept me laughing and just having a good time. Really it is what I wanted, a fun and enjoyable show. But, than they decided to they had to tell an actual story with more serious bits.

And it has just fallen apart for me. The characters and the story and world just aren’t good enough for me to actually enjoy by themselves. They aren’t special or interesting in any way at all. Everyone is super generic, and the world is boring. Visually the show doesn’t set itself apart in any major way ether. The main thing going for it was the jokes, which are being replaced by a serious story that I just don’t care about at all. Honestly by the time this show is done, it will have gone from a solid 6 maybe even 7 for jokes and enjoyment alone down to a 5.
