86 EIGHTY-SIX Season 2: Episode 4

Well we had another slow episode, which means the next will be various parts of death and destruction most likely. They really do keep pushing the whole future thing, and what the plans are going forth. And that just is a terrible idea as everyone knows. Flags get raised when you talk about the future you haven’t yet secured fully.

I do wonder where things will be heading though. We have two separate stories that are still loosely connected, and haven’t seen anything from the one side with Major and the Republic in awhile. We got that final shot in this episode with her, so maybe we will be swinging back to her. But in general over the whole show and plot, I don’t see any real achievable goal. They are fighting against a self-replicating robot army that will never tire or worry about loosing units and people. So it can just slowly grind everyone down year after year until it achieves it’s goals.

But what are those goals? We know so little about the Legion that I don’t know where to go with them. Is their directive to just eliminate all hostile forces who are not working with the Legion and the Empire? Or do they have some deeper thing they are trying to achieve written in their programing? I really wish I knew. And I do hope that as the show continues maybe we get some of those answers.
