Komi Can’t Communicate: Episode 1

Well the first episode has finally showed up on the sites I use to acquire my anime. So finally got a chance to watch the first episode. And man, this is everything I wanted from this show. I love the characters and way everything is presented. And just can’t wait to see more as the season continues, I wonder how far they will get.

Something I kinda didn’t expect, is that I haven’t really heard of the studio behind this show; OLM. And looking at their history is makes some sense, they seem to have mostly done more kid’s focused shows in the past and Pokemon. And only within the past year started to branch out into other shows. But if this show is representative of what they can do, than I will end up keeping on eye on their future projects. It just looks so beautiful. And they managed to make rather simple scenes of just characters talking or writing on a blackboard feel like so much more.
