The Future Diary: Episode 1

Yea, so this looks like it is gonna be rather generic. They really aren’t setting this up to be a very good show in the long run at all. The character portraits they have shown thus far are the most generic main characters in a battle anime possible.

And than the actual premise. A bunch of people were keeping diaries so some God, who Yukki thought was just his imaginary friend. Like seriously what is with that, thinking it is still an imaginary friend when you literally teleport into a different realm when you talk with them. But really, this set up just isn’t that amazing at all for me.

Plus that first fight is incredibly odd. Why would this God not tell his apparent friend who they have been having conversations with for an extended period of time. That he had just been entered into a death game without warning or explanation, and just kinda figured it would work out.

IDK, this all just feels rather messy. Will have to see where it goes.
