Freezing : Episode 3

And onto the ecchi romance show of 10 years ago. Surprisingly, I am liking it and can see how it managed to get a second season easily. It isn’t ground breaking in any way or special, or honestly all that amazing. But it is just decent enough that I can stick with it. I am liking the characters, the world makes me want to learn more about it, and the story is starting to ask some questions to be answered later.

Now at this point I do have an issue related to the side characters. They are so over-the-top that they feel ridiculous. You don’t just have a bog standard rival who wants to beat them. Instead everyone seems to be overly aggressive and want to ultimately humiliate the opponent. And I wish they were toned down some.

My other complaint of course comes from the ecchi nature of the show. With just how they feel it is necessary to have at least one female character almost completely naked per episode. But highly doubt that will ever change given this is an ecchi show.
