Scarlet Nexus : Episode 3

The show has the same issue that the game did, the Naomi transformation just happens too quickly. You have no connection to the character really at that point. You haven’t had many experiences with them at all, and they give you emotional events already. It really should have been delayed a little bit more to give everyone more time to connect with her.

Something I find interesting, is how they are cutting out all the Other fighting in the show. I figured they would leave some of it in to let the characters have some action scenes. And show what exactly the big bad threat is, but they are just kinda skipping all of that to get to the next story beat. I don’t know how will that will actually work out in the end.

It does look like we are getting some story differences between the game and show next episode. With events playing out much differently than they did in the game. Probably to help pacing and move the story along a bit faster. More minor things like new characters or locations have already been added, but nothing that I really end up disliking.
