Heaven’s Memo Pad : Episode 1

Unexpected 47 min episode, with some absolute bangers of OPs and EDs. This felt like it was made to be a long episode, and not just two episodes stuck together which was a nice.

Now the actual show, It does interest me to some extent. But I need more about what is going on here. They have introduced an interesting set of characters, mostly, but I don’t really have a story or plot at the moment. I don’t know what these characters are going to be doing over the course of the show, or if this is leading to anything. Is it gonna just be mystery of the week style, or will things be connected.

Also I strongly dislike Narumi, he is just way too generic stand in for me. He has zero personality or traits at all that I can tell. He doesn’t stand up for himself, or make any decisions himself. I kept waiting for him to do something special or interesting, and it never happened. So unless he gains something in the next episode or two, he will be the main object that can drag this show down.
