Gosick : Episode 23

Ugh, I’m done with this show. This is so far from what I liked from the beginning of the show, that it isn’t even remotely the same genre. Or themes, or style at all. I have nothing occurring right now that I care about at all. I am totally disconnected from the events, and just lost and confused. I don’t understand why we are here. What is the purpose any of this is filling.

I am here, because the first half of the show was this genius girl solved mysteries with her foreigner side kick. Over the course of time they introduced a bit of romance, alongside the various mysteries. It wasn’t my favorite, but I enjoyed it enough. Now we don’t even have the main two characters in the same damn area. They will not interact at all. And somehow we have a war going on.

None of this was developed well at all, this wasn’t a plot thread linked in from the first episode. We didn’t have major foreshadowing of this event in the horizon. It has just randomly occurred within the last like 3 episodes, for no reason. I hate this, I should have stopped watching around episode 18 or something. At least I could give it an average score for being decent. But I hate this now, and my final score and review will defiantly reflect that.
