Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I’m a Reincarnator : Episode 11

I would love to see this whole spirit conflict play out in a longer and better show I think, or one that utilizes time skips. This all is a very good set-up for a conflict in 500yrs when the royal family and country that has been shunned by spirits for years advances to a technical level in which they are capable of fighting back against the spirits. The royal family screws up once 200yrs ago, and gets shunned far into the future. Even when members of the royal family purposely reach out and attempt to restore contact and build relationships with them again, the spirits just don’t care about it.

And now we essentially have the Ellen who is representing the spirits in this discussion telling Gadielle that the coming plague can’t be stopped except by a single medicine only Ellen can make. And pretty much holding the country hostage over it. Honestly by this point of the story I can’t figure out how you could ever say the spirits are the good guys in this story at all.

I am saying this, but I really need to reread the available manga and see where this all goes. Because I feel like my original reading I just didn’t realize how silly and broken the whole thing is.
