86 EIGHTY-SIX : Episode 8

Oh man, this is ending on such a bad note. Running off to fight in a suicide mission, and telling Lena that no matter what they do the Republic will fall and that she should escape. Meanwhile her only friend is getting incredibly depressed over what is and has happened, and deciding to take it out on Lena. And all while the major military leader has lost all hope in the County and seems like he would rather they all die. This is all going really badly, don’t possibly see how they can recover at this point. I see no possible timeline or set of events that leads to the Republic surviving this war.

I also just realized this first season is only 11 episodes long, so this really is the final fight of the season. Just this final fight against the brother and the season will be wrapped up. But I do wonder what is happening with Lena during these events. While they said to leave them alone, I see no way she would actually do that. I feel like she is currently planning some crazy plan to get them assistance, or possibly even join them on the battlefield herself. At this point I feel she is backed into a corner and will do something crazy.
