Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night : Episode 12

And so the show is over, and it ends with a big old event. Honestly as a whole this show I really enjoyed, and this final episode was great. Brought the cast together to just hang out and have fun, and let the character enjoy themselves. And came back around to the original idea of the jellyfish mural on the wall. Plus a very interesting decision to have those final couple minutes replicating a vertical cell phone video, honestly super creative.

Now as for my thoughts from the previous episode, about issues I had with pacing and story-lines that felt cut short. I still do feel that way, even if this was a good final episode. I just wish this show could have had a second cour, and let it expand far more on the other character arcs and details that ended up being dropped. Sure I don’t think any of them would have changed my opinion on the show, but I do think they would have made it better.

But in the end, this was a great show that I loved. And I could easily recommend it.
