Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night : Episode 4

Some very good character development and building this episode, but also giving the group a goal to reach. Which seems to be beating Kano’s old idol group and her mother who is the producer. And while we don’t know the full story behind that all, and I assume we will get it eventually, I find it to be a pretty strong story to work with. Sure to have some good family drama between Kano and her mother at some point in the show. I will especially love it if they end up going completely viral as a pure online presence and beat her old group and her mother who are going a traditional route with the CD tour.

Also in relation to Mahiru and her comment at the end of the episode about liking somebody, are they perhaps actually going to go that route. Because I would really love to see that happen in the show, casual romance build out of this relationship and group would be amazing. And in relation to Kiui, I enjoy how they didn’t have some long multi-episode build up of getting her to leave the house and join the group or anything. She doesn’t necessarily have any issue going out and joining others and working together, just enjoy it going quick and getting started at a good pace.

Honestly though at this point, unless something goes horribly wrong with this show. It is gonna end up being my favorite show of the season. And another example that original shows can work well.
