Mekakucity Actors : Episode 1

I don’t really know what to say about this show outside of, it sure is a Shaft show. Like I don’t really understand what is going on at this point at all. There are obviously some crazy shit going on, but none of it makes sense at least from this first episode at all. But the animation and visuals look good with that standard Shaft style that I’ve always enjoyed.

I’ve also looked up some information on how this is apparently some massive multi-media type deal. With a large variety of manga, light novels, anime, and music all based around the same universe. And I really don’t think I have it in me to go explore this entire extended universe at all, but I might get around to listening to some of the music if it seems pretty good from the show.
