[C] – CONTROL : Episode 6

I think I have figured out my main issue, it is near impossible for me to believe the events of this show could possibly happen. Because it is set in such a realistic modern world. When you see supposed multi-millionaires and massive conglomerates disappearing over-night from a single fight in another world, it stretches things too much for me. If the repercussions where anything else, I could do it. But whenever these events happen like this episode, the only thing going through my head is how the philanthropic millionaire would never loose everything in the real world. Outside of going to prison for tax evasion or money laundering.

Now other things about the episode, I’ve felt that the animation is getting rougher the longer the show goes on. It seems to have more scenes using CGI. And generally getting a bit flatter and blander in style, haven’t seen anything that really stands out recently at all. Even the fights, really dull. Two people standing calling out commands and occasionally attacking themselves. Feels more like a pokemon or digimon battle.

Half way through, and I’m gonna keep watching it at this point. But unless things change, I don’t really see how I could recommend this show to somebody.
