Banished from the Hero’s Party Season 2 : Episode 11

Doing yet more catch up on reviews, lets do the Hero’s Party anime now. With 1 episode to go in the show, it is still a very enjoyable if average show. Nothing in the show has been all that outstanding or great in any real way. And in some aspects I consider this season a downgrade over season 1. Mainly coming down to the actual plot of the season. Season 1 was much more pure character focused on Red, Rit, Ruti, and the rest of the heroes party. With them actually relaxing and enjoying time together it felt, sure there was the plot with the alchemist and mage. But it didn’t feel like it took over nearly as much as the new hero plot has this season.

Where is that quiet life in the countryside that the title promised me? Because it really doesn’t seem to exist with this season at all.

The actual hero himself also hasn’t done much for me at all, he just isn’t a very interesting character. And the story I feel would be more interesting, about whatever the Church did to turn Van into a hero or if he ever was a true hero. Or the story about why this ancient fey is in love with Van and following him around. All of that would make me far more invested in the show. Going into the final episode, I just don’t really have that much invested in it at all.
