Well I can see how the romance in this is going to develop already. Banari is going to keep sticking around and hanging out with Kouko, getting her to open up a bit more and just in general learn about her. She is gonna be more than just some spoiled rich girl, and things will just develop from there. And honestly Banari is just a really good guy thus far, he hasn’t come off as too much or anything, just feels very realistic and natural as being a good person.

Meanwhile I really dislike Mitsuo. Sure I don’t know their full story yet, and there is probably more to it. But he just comes off as a bit of an ass-hole to Kouko and doesn’t just do the reasonable thing. Instead of spending the time to talk to her, and work to convince her to let him do his own thing for awhile. He just ignores somebody who is obviously in a poor situation and feeling lonely.
