The Kingdoms of Ruin : Episode 2

So this guy spends 10 years locked up, and apparently planning out the best way to wipe out a nation. And his great and brilliant plan, after all this time. Is a giant robot and some guns? Like is that really the plan, because that is terrible. I’m supposed to be embracing this guy as a anti-hero, who is willing to do anything to achieve his goals and get revenge. That is the only thing the show has going for it, so why is he so terrible at that goal. Not to mention your anti-hero shouldn’t break down because he learns of some alternative plan on episode 2, that should happen after he has already caused great death and destruction.

Also Doroka is apparently another witch, who planned to get captured all with the goal of getting Adonis out of that prison, and use him to resurrect Chloe. But why? Why would the remaining witches spend all this time and energy apparently to try and resurrect Chloe, instead of figuring out a new and better plan. Chloe already failed once, shouldn’t you find a new solution. And what type of plan is this anyhow, 1 witch alone trying to break him out and escape with him. No back-up or escape plan, no additional context or assistance.

Man IDK, I might give this show another episode. But if Doroka doesn’t go full anti-hero/villain next episode. Really causes mass destruction and shows off some actual abilities and something. Than I don’t think it will ever happen and just drop the show.
