Kill la Kill : Episode 1

Well I have finally done it, I have finally watched episode 1 of Kill la Kill. A show everyone seems to praise for various reasons, and yet I know nothing about. I have avoided any and all spoilers about this show, or were it goes, or what happens with it. Literally all I know despite how popular it seems to be, is it was made by Trigger.

And from the first episode, I guess this is a show for sure. Like it was an interesting first episode that I don’t understand at all. We have some strange school ran essentially as a dictatorship. Some strange clothes that apparently give people power. And a girl with a half a scissor who is trying to track down her fathers killer. Oh, and some sentient skimpy clothing that apparently drinks blood. There is so much going on, that I don’t have a clue about anything at all. And I really hope I get some answers to all the questions I have after this first episode.

Visually, the show is really different and pretty impressive. There is a lot going on with the animation in this show. It is fast and very detailed, while also keeping a very unique style. And I can fully see were everyone coping the Trigger style, and remarking on it came from directly with this show.
