Attack on Titan Season 2 : Episode 2

Well we have Sasha still being half useless, and not really being a character I enjoy at all. Connie didn’t really do anything this episode at all. And we get a moment with Eren and the rest finally leaving to attempt to deal with the situation.

Meanwhile as you see all these various villages and such. It just keeps hammering how little apparently humanity has evolved and changed their methods in dealing with titans. I’ve said it so many times, but it just feels super forced and un-natural that there wouldn’t be more developments in anti-titan methodology over time. Sure there might not have been an attack in years, but somewhere in the past the knowledge of dealing with them and slowing them down would have existed. Traps and pitfalls and underground constructions to avoid the standard titans. I will hope eventually we see progress like that happening, because it just seems like the natural thing.
