And everything finished with the fight between Titan Eren and Titan Annie, and somehow Eren still is hesitant to actually finish the job. Which is just insane. Somehow this guy is still hesitant to actually blame Annie, despite seeing it himself.

Meanwhile Erwin is over here saying what a great victory this was, they stopped the female titan and captured Annie. So that threat is eliminated. Though I question the cost to benefit comparison here, given thousands are dead and the entire district is destroyed. Probably was a better way of doing this, but whatever.

But hey, they technically won in the end. And we are left with a shot of a titan buried in the wall. Which makes me question, has nobody done maintenance on these walls over the course of all this time? How does somebody not notice that while rebuilding a wall or reinforcing sections.

I’m probably gonna do a full review, which nobody will like. But I just didn’t enjoy the show. I loved it originally when I watched it. But going back now, I just don’t see what my appeal was in. I don’t like the characters, the story goes nowhere in 25 episodes, the world building is crap, visuals are pretty bad even for the time. I just don’t think it does anything all that great at all. One of those highly rated anime, that I just don’t understand at all.

With that said, I am going to be breaking my normal rules of watching shows. I am going to jump forward a couple seasons outside my normal schedule, and watch S2 of Attack on Titan still. I do want to finish this show, and figure out what exactly everyone sees in it. And figure it gets better at some point. And if I stuck to my normal watching schedule I wouldn’t be watching it till 2027. So see you soon with AoT S2
