Attack on Titan : Episode 24

I really can’t stand Eren as a character, and especially as the main character. He has literally been the most useless character the entire season, has had no growth at all, and has been essentially forced to do everything this season. He hasn’t made a single choice for himself that was good. Everything he does other people have to fight and die and plead with him to do, even though he apparently already knew it was the right thing to do. I just cannot stand his character.

And with this episode, it gets even worse. He has constantly stated he hates titans and wants to protect people and all that crap. And yet the one moment he can actually do something productive about it, and is given the freedom and express consent to do something. He doesn’t until dozens of people die. I just don’t understand his character at all, and really hate him.

Meanwhile the other cast members who are far better characters and actually seem to have some skills and abilities, maybe even a tiny bit of growth this season. They are the side characters and have gotten very little screen time recently at all.
