Attack on Titan : Episode 21

There is no way that was the big titan fight. That was so disappointing. There wasn’t any suspense at all to that fight. It was two people attempting and failing half the time to hit each other, with no skill or thought involved at all. With Eren somehow being absolutely useless. I honestly don’t really understand his character, or what to think of him at all. He isn’t very good at anything at all, and has gotten this point basically off will-power alone.

Meanwhile we have the one-dimensional Mikasa who literally has no character except being obsessed over Eren. She has no other character development or motivations at all, which makes her a very boring character.

Honestly, in some ways I would respect this show more if this wasn’t a fake death scene. If they actually went ahead and killed Eren it would have elevated this show. A show willing to truly kill the rather unlikable main character.
