Attack on Titan : Episode 18

Wow that episode felt incredibly choppy with a lot of cuts and missing info. Especially near the end, we are jumping hard between places and characters. We have Armin and friends hanging out in a tree, apparently at some point they passed along the important info. Never saw it happen, and Armin being super concerned was apparently just solved off screen, guess at the same time more people joined their group. This I guess happened at the same time the entire formation rearranged itself to enter the forest.

Meanwhile we are getting the greatest example of why the humans seem to be losing this war, to go along with all the great examples from earlier. They are somehow actually terrible at warfare and communication. Attempting to relay on a fast paced movement system without corresponding communication, and therefore things fall apart as expected. Along with a training system that isn’t good enough I guess, they just don’t seem to have full control over their soldiers at all in tense situations. So I guess none of the soldiers trust the commanders, nor do they have any trust in surviving. It just seems like a massive recipe for disaster that becomes rather obvious.
