Blue Exorcist : Episode 3

Yea, no I’m not doing this show. I cannot stand the main character Rin at all. He is everything in a character that I hate. He is annoying and whinny and just plain makes the show impossible for me to watch. I figure he is the type of character that in 15 episodes grows a bunch, and suddenly becomes great. And everyone might love by the end of the show. But I can’t be bothered, I just can’t. If I don’t immediately like the character, I’m just gonna drop the show and move on. Got too many better things to watch to deal with characters that I hate in hopes of them improving.

Outside of the main character that I hate. The story just isn’t grabbing me at all. Just super generic, demons vs humans in the forever epic battle, a story that has been told 2 million times over various mediums. And I really don’t see it doing something different with the story that can keep me distracted from the terrible main character.

Overall, this isn’t worth my time watching something I really don’t like and wasting my time. It gets a drop from me.
