And so the revelation around Eren, and the confusion around titans really starts with this episode. And it really does make me question why it happens, and I figure it gets explained at some point in a later season fully. Because on the surface it really makes no sense at all. But it does make for a good ending point of the episode and this arc, and a good point to start up the next arc.

Of course the actual question is, will anything with the command structure and military and technology actually improve and change following this fight. You would figure it would have changed after they lost the previous wall, but that obviously didn’t happen. Will stress and possible annihilation finally lead to advancements, or is it going to just be luck in hoping Eren and turn into a titan and kill some other titans.
