Well my comment about Izumiko and the Goddess not really doing anything the past couple episodes came back with this episode. All taking place in some strange alternative dimension that I honestly don’t understand. Much of this episode I didn’t understand at all, I enjoyed it sure, but didn’t really understand it. We jumped around a ton between places and people and the general concept of what was happening never got explained fully.

And of course we have stuff like Izumiko’s Mother showing up suddenly and helping them out as the Goddess. Which is also something I don’t really understand, how the Goddess thing actually works. Is this a forced process that the host has no control or ability to stop at all, or something that is voluntary and somebody takes on to keep it from affecting somebody else. So say the mother is taking these roles to let her daughter have a more normal life for longer. Just honestly don’t really know and I hope to learn more in the anime, but I wonder if I won’t get the proper answers without reading the novels.
