Dead Mount Death Play : Episode 6

So I was gonna come in and mention I really don’t understand where this story is heading, nor this rather slow pacing for a 12 episode show. But than I noticed it already has a second cour ordered, so I guess I will shelve my pacing question for now.

Otherwise, this show seems like it has a number of people and parties all involved with the events. And I really don’t understand how they are all connected, or what anybodies goals are. It isn’t very clear how things are going to progress, or who the actually main antagonist is at this point. I’m gonna guess that this is all lead up and building to some large reveal in the last episodes of this cour, so that the second cour starts off large and we can deal with the antagonist during that cour.

Something I do wish and hope we learn more about is magic. It is obvious that various people somehow have access to magic, and apparently all use it to commit crimes. Which seems kinda odd, how are there only like a dozen people able to use magic somehow and none of them are just casual businessmen.
