Valvrave the Liberator : Episode 2

I don’t think I’m gonna give this show another episode, thus far I really dislike it. For a single reason, I hate Haruto. I just hate his character completely. And in the first two episodes hasn’t done a single thing I actually liked and thought was good progress. His main chance to make me like him, and make me feel like he finally grew a bit of backbone and would be aggressive he went for a stupid joke instead of confessing.

Meanwhile the larger world and conflict I don’t understand. They live in a neutral country that didn’t have a military apparently, but had no other back-up plan if they got attacked? It is all just really stupid and dumb.
