Pokémon Horizons : Episode 1

So I haven’t really watched a Pokemon show in probably a decade now, it has been a very long time. And haven’t seriously played a Pokemon game in about as long. Modern Pokemon just doesn’t seem to do much for me anymore, and I got annoyed that Ash was still the main character after all these years.

Well here we are with a new series, and most important a new protagonist. And I’m going to give this a try, and it is off to a pretty good start for me. I like Liko thus far and I feel like her character can have some pretty good growth as the show continues. And we have a good mystery around this pendant that Liko has. Honestly doesn’t feel like what I remember the Pokemon anime being, and more like a normal anime. Thus far you don’t have the silly situation of this 10yr old kid running around the world for years, but instead a kid just going to school and getting caught up in a situation not of their making. I just think it works better for me.
