In the end we get the happy ending that was expected, and it follows the light novel pretty closely. In the end it gets to the same places. But it does end up getting very rushed, skipping over stuff and moving along super quickly to reach the end. It doesn’t ruin the show or anything, but it isn’t as good as it could have been.

In the end I don’t think I loved this show as much as I did the light novel. Just too much gets rushed to fit it into 12 episodes that disappoints me. It would have been much better off being a slightly longer show to allow for more of the novel to be adapted without feeling rushed. Visually I think the show was fine, but nothing special or outstanding.
