In/Spectre 2 : Episode 9

I’ve recently gone ahead and caught up with the manga a good bit recently, and gotten past this point. And I’ve realized just how close things are following to the manga throughout the show completely. But with one massive change, they have completely changed around when things happen. I’m not sure why, but they have moved around the various arcs around a whole bunch. But also along the way cut out a bunch of backstory of Kotoko, which never felt super important but does help build her character more.

This arc after reading the manga still doesn’t feel all that strong, and that carries over to the anime of course. It doesn’t really seem to be in the same level as the rest of the series. Not really involving that many yokai, only really involving one for some vague information. And is a much more human mystery that Kotoko is trying to deal with.
