Getting something that looks like progress with their relationship this episode, and it is decent enough for this show at least. You know nothing will ever happen till the very end, but it worked out well enough. You have Jun starting to recognize Tomo as a girl and understanding more of his feelings for her. Meanwhile Tomo has pretty much already accepted her feelings for Jun. But it just takes so very long for anything to actually happen to push the relationship over the edge.
