Damn, I really loved this episode and this show in general. It basically did everything I would want from this adaption, and in some ways I think it did a better job than the original source material. It has made some changes that really help change the tone of the show and the encounters that happen for the better. And help make things much more interesting, just something simple like changing the technology of the world and level of development has done so much.

And than the animation and visuals. It did the main thing I want to see from adaptions to be perfectly honest, use the visuals to expand and develop the original story. Far beyond what could have been possible by just writing about the scene or seeing it in the manga. What we got was far more than I could have expected, and it did it amazingly. Honestly I am super impressed by what I saw from Nexus, a studio I’ve pretty much never heard of before and didn’t expect anything from at all. They went far beyond my exceptions, and just did a great job.

Honestly, by the end of this I have no complaints at all about the show. Beyond maybe that strange first episode that felt a bit odd and out of place, especially since we aren’t getting to that content for at least another season. I am glad to see it exist, and I really want to see a second season get made. They have plenty of source material to work with still.
