Perfectly fine episode setting up the final events of the anime. Cid getting his big ending at the festival like he wanted, and a chance to just show off a bit while playing his role. Honestly he is one man who tries so very hard to be anything but who he actually is it is kinda amazing.

In general I have really enjoyed this show, it has adapted the light novel very well. And made some various changes and modifications here and there to work better in the anime. Or completely change up locations and lengths and details of fights, I figure to better highlight things that will be happening in the future of the light novel. But none of them have been bad, and I’ve enjoyed it.
