In some downtime between Episodes 1 and 2 I decided to go ahead and read the light novel, pretty easy to do given it is only 2 volumes. But man if they stick with the source material pretty closely, this will be an enjoyable show for sure. There are plenty of really good moments in the light novel that I hadn’t even seen yet in the manga. Would definitely keep this show on your watch lists and enjoy the whole thing.
