Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire : Episode 1

I’ll be honest, I don’t really know how many of these shows I will keep watching this season. So many of them are just straight up adaptions of the manga or light novels that I’m already reading or planning to read. And they themselves don’t seem to add much being animated, I’m not feeling like all that much is being gained from seeing it animated. This show also I’m kinda shocked to see animated, because I never thought it was all that strong of a story. It is perfectly average and fine, but that is all the manga is. And I doubt the anime will change that at all.

With this first episode, you have a pretty standard plot and standard characters in a reincarnation story. Super powerful person reincarnates, and now has to relive life in a different way. This time they don’t want to be a powerful hero who runs a country, but instead more of a normal person just fighting and enjoying life. Just a very average show all around, average animation and visual style, average characters and plot, just pretty average show. And I don’t know if it is enough for me in this season of so many other shows.
