And with this the show is over, and I guess it is a pretty fine show. Like I enjoyed it all entirely. It looks good and the action flows really well. And honestly I don’t have a ton of complaints about the show in general. Even the final episode felt really good, it wrapped up that sudden conflict well.

But at the same time, it just felt oddly paced really. The whole conflict happens far too quick for me to really get invested in it all. Suddenly they get attacked, a bunch of people die. They have an entire training arc that spanned like, a couple days, are suddenly more powerful and go confront the new enemy. It just feels very odd and rushed to me. Who exactly were this group and how did they get involved with the gun devil? What was up with that lady and her snake, who was she even? It just felt odd, like your introduced to the main antagonist of the season at the last moments and than everything is wrapped up almost as soon as they show up.

Also the ending just lacks the satisfaction I would really want. And without an announcement of a sequel season, I’m just left with that feeling of being baited into reading the manga. Like hey if you want to know what this sequel bait means, better go read all the manga now. And I really do hate when shows do that.
