Arknights: Prelude to Dawn : Episode 5

And we have moved past the half-way point in this show of just 8 episodes. And i think it is still going about as strong as it could be. An issue I do have at this point is, just kinda a lack of direction in the story. I don’t really have any idea were things will be going, or what the end goal is at all. Don’t even know any information about the Doctor yet, despite him seemingly being an important character. Heck the Doctor barely even plays a role in the show, he could just not be there and nothing would change.

Which I guess is one of the issues with a character who is just the invisible overhead camera essentially in the game. Doctor isn’t a real character I don’t feel like, just the generic way to give you an excuse to control the units. Yet with the show, it doesn’t even feel like they are doing that much. I can still enjoy the show, but it surely has some issues. And those issues I don’t think they could possibly fix due to them trying to keep rather close to the source material in the gacha game.
