Horimiya : Episode 13

Man, what a feeling of being rushed this ended up being due to the general make-up of the show. Instead of following the various chapters of the manga more, they decided to just jump around to the major events. And while I do feel like it worked decently well, I am left with a feeling of disappointment. Mainly for any anime only watchers. With this being the actual conclusion of the show, and so much side content and extra stuff cut out of the show. This ending honestly lacks some of the feels the manga did.

We didn’t have all of the side character stuff for dozens of chapters building them up. So all of their graduations and saying goodbyes don’t have nearly the same impact. While at the same time because they are using the same source. The Hori and Miyamura graduation and send off still feels lacking.

Honestly in general, just like the manga. I am left feeling kinda disappointed. I feel like it has so much more potential in both mediums that just wasn’t explored properly at all.
