Chainsaw Man : Episode 3

That was an absolutely insane episode, with also some really solid character develop. We have a ton of character development for Power, really understand a bit more about who she is. Sure she is a fiend and honestly doesn’t like humans or other beings in general. But at the same time she really does have emotions and cares about things, she made a solid and honest connection with a cat she found and helped raise back to health. She cares enough that she will go through this whole plan of joining Public Safety and save humans even though she hates them, just to get the chance to save her cat and pretty much only companion.

Meanwhile Denji, I still have mixed feelings about him. I still don’t like characters whose entire motivation is just being able to do perverted things to people. It just feels like a very tired and old trope, and I just don’t get much connection with the characters whose only motivation is that. And I do hope eventually his motivation grows more to just enjoying the things he couldn’t have before and enjoying life in general, which would include woman and relationships.
